Our name the "Proving Grounds" is taken from Pastor Shawn's military training.  The Army has a place called the proving grounds where weapons and skills are tested and  honed to the specifications needed for battle.  As the Word of God says in Ephesians 6.. we are in a struggle not against flesh and blood but against the dark powers of this world...It is our belief that training is needed in the Word of God to help our students prepare for their days of battle in this life.  In the Proving Grounds of Chi Alpha it is our prayer that our students be equipped to take the Gospel into this lost world and for them to do what God has called them to do.

Our Focus

Chi Alpha has a five-fold philosophy including prayer, worship, discipleship, mission, and fellowship. We hope that you will find a place where you as a college student can belong. What has become apparent in society today is there is a lack of family and it is our hope that Chadron State College Chi Alpha can be a place where you can find that in fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
